Student arrested for misdemeanor
A Johnson State College student was taken into custody Thursday morning at the Willey Library and Learning Center for failure to appear in court earlier this month on an alleged misdemeanor charge in Chittenden County.
Saidi Kyungu attended an arraignment at the Lamoille County Courthouse Thursday afternoon and was released on his own recognizance.
