Badger Briefs: Men’s golf finishes eighth in NAC Championship
The Northern Vermont University-Johnson men’s golf team shot a team score of 345 on day two of the North Atlantic Conference men’s golf championship to earn an eighth-place finish with a total score of 705.
Austin Walters was the top performer for the Badgers shooting an 84 on day one of the championship followed by an 81 earlier today. Kaden Swett followed with an improved 83 after shooting an 89 on Saturday afternoon. Jason Klevan and Trevor Newton were the next top performers.
On Saturday, Klevan shot a score of 93 followed by an improved 89. Newton recorded a score of 94 followed by a 92. Senior Jesse Streeter rounded out the Badgers lineup shooting a total score of 198 over the course of the championship.
SUNY Delhi captured the win shooting a team score of 600.
