Johnson earns second and third places in Home Invitational
Women’s Cross Country Team
Johnson State men’s cross country finished in second place in the Johnson State College Invitational with a total score of 49. The Badgers were led by three top 10 finishers paced by Brendan Walsh, who finished in first place overall crossing the line in 26:58, Steven Lamonde, who finished seventh with a time of 28:16 and Zach Levy, who came in 10th overall and ran the race in 29:14.
Filling out the Badgers’ top five was Chris Ray (30:45) who finished 14th overall, Thomas Donnelly (31:02) who finished seventeenth.

Paul Smith’s took first place honors ahead of the Badgers.
Johnson State women’s cross country finished in third place in the Johnson State College Invitational with a total score of 68. The Badgers were led by Brynn Cairns, who finished fifth overall crossing the line in 22:56.
Paul Smith’s took first place honors ahead of SUNY Canton and then Johnson State. Johnson is back in action on October 4th for the VT State Cross Country Championships.
