Basement Medicine is Vermont State University – Johnson’s student-run community newspaper, founded in 1973.  The newspaper office is located in the Willey Library & Learning Center, room 327. Our coverage extends from the Johnson campus to downtown Johnson and outward to surrounding communities.

We are dedicated to accurate and objective reporting, and the staff hold each other to high standards of quality and honesty. We believe firmly in the power of an educated, aware, and well-informed citizenry.

The print edition of Basement Medicine is published biweekly and distributed throughout the VTSU – Johnson campus and nearby local businesses.
